What is image saturation
Saturation is how vivid the colors are. High saturation means intense, rich colors; low saturation means gray, closer to black and white. Many dull photos are just low on saturation.
Effects of saturation adjustment:
- Increase → more vivid and lively
- Decrease → softer, more subdued, closer to B&W
